JOLLY LLB 2 movie review
Jolly LLB 2 the film is beautifully written by Subhash Kapoor. The film describes about the condition of court and jurisdiction there in India. This is a story of a low level lawyer JOLLY, who have been struggling to make a mark in the field yet. Written and Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film stars Askhay Kumar in the lead actor and Annu Kapoor as heroin.
In the story, Jolly always had been dreaming of having his own chamber with his name written as advocate and had been working in the law firm of renowned Advocate for more than 5 years and had already deposited 10 lakhs to buy a chamber but still he was 2 lakhs less. One fine morning he sees a girl henna in front of his office, who was there to talk with his boss about her case, ( Her husband had been murder, it was a fake encounter). Taking the dept of the case lightly he tells her he will talk to his boss and ask her to prepare 2 lakhs sum of money. Upon speaking with his boss, he denies her case without even thinking. The girls gives him 2 lakhs thinking his boss accepted the case. Jolly opens his own chamber with that money.
Upon finding Jolly cheated her she talked with Jolly and committed suicide. Then after the incident he came to realize what a deep mistake he has done, he loses his jobs and everything. Then he makes his life goal to " to provide justice for her husband". The story line continues.
What I liked in the picture:
The acting of Ashay Kumar was very smooth, he really got in the character. The comedy was good, no dirty jokes or anything to make audience laugh forcefully. The part where the audience has to get serious we all do. In fact I could really feel that I was in there in the movie itself watching it all happen. Most importantly, It makes us feel enthusiastic to what happens next? We tend to ask that question a lot. Subhash Kapoor has done a great job as director.
What I didn't like:
The judge in the story was way out of league, personally I feel to show a judge like that is act to try to insult Indian legal system.
The evidence in the film was not too promising I guess, to help solve a deep case like that. I think when CBI was to take the investigation, I don't think it would leave it in the hand of others. It is not realistic to that point. And at the climax scene when the court was open till 3 in the morning, this obviously makes us question our self and others whether it will actually happen or not. And the personal life shown of Jolly was pretty useless and unneeded.
Conclusion:
Finally concluding the movie was quite different from what I expected. I expected Jolly to be quite foolish but it was not true which made the film very interested to me. Finally I think the crew have done a great job especially Akshay Kumar (hats off to him as always). I got great entertainment watching this movie and after watching the movie I think my day was well spent.
I would rate the movie 7/10 and recommend all of you to watch it.
