VR box Second generation review

I was very excited to be able to use VR box for the first time, I was so excited that I bought it after using it for the first time, here in Nepal it cost Rs 1000/- (Approx 10$), which is not much of a price for the things which we can do using the box. I bought VR box second generation from Kaymu (Nepal's renowned online seller). After the delivery I started using it.

For the first time of using it, I was initially very happy of its performance, As it was the very first VR box I ever used. Slowly after the time being it started hitting me, I mean literally hitting me, the elastic in the strap were not show good, after some use it would eventually become very lose. The box started to become burden for my nose. My nose as it is initially huge, it started becoming heavier. The apps it needed to run.

The box do not have any button to control it, every time you need to switch between apps you have to open the box, open the mobile slot, change the app and put it back in. It become worse when you are watching short videos. The quality of glass used is very poor, when I started to watch long videos like movie in there then I had pain in my eyes even though I had crazy fun. For those who want to have the experience and do not want to spend much on the stuff I think this is the best idea.

The basic app needed are:
1. Google cardboard
2. VR movie
3. VR player
4.sisters

The apps are needed to have the experience. Android gives best user experience.
I would rate the box 6/10, and recommend to buy if you want to have VR experience but do not want to spend much on it.

  1. Interesting...
Since VRs are just a new tech and still a gimmick for many, I'd probably buy it after a year or so.
