My first bike
My first bike
Every teenager has many dreams and demands. Most of them are nonsense and irrelevant, while some may have sense in them. We,teenagers, are very stubborn in nature, once we demand something we want it from our parents. Yes from parents here in southern Asia we live with our parents and is considered good to be with parents helping them grow old unlike in Western world. There are advantages of living with our parents and the foremost is that parents fullfill our most of the wishes and teenagers demand thing with their parent without thinking anything.
Having passed my motorcycle license test I also had a dream to own my own motorcycle and go into the wild. I had already started asking motorcycle with my parents after a week I got driving license in my name. I always day dreamed about how my bike would be. Being from the middle class family my family could not afford to buy the motorcycle right away they delayed me, they asked me time. I approved but was not patient enough to wait, I always used to ask my parents they said they would buy on October. Here in Nepal we have our greatest festival of the year that is "Dashain". So most of things that are bought are bought around the time.
Dashain is always special every year, mostly because of long holidays, it the time of year where our relatives, parents, brothers and sisters , cousins comeback home to visit, sit together, eat together and gamble. Every year this is the special time of the year. But this was even more special to me, this year I could have my own bike. I used to dream about this time all the time.
Since it was the time of the year I waited for eagerly, the 5 month time never passed. It took forever to pass. Then finally after a long wait the time came. It was finally time to buy a bike. My happiness could not be measured, all those time I spent on the internet surfing which bike to buy and which has better pick-up, which has better mileage. I always had a conflict in the mind regarding what I wanted? whether it was performance or economy? Finally I had taken a huge decision that was to buy Pulsar 220f. Yes I reached the decision. I took the money and along with my mother and brother in law, We went to buy the bike. And look at he natures call at the same instance there was shortage the only particular motorcycle. We went throughout kathmandu city and still couldnot find the bike and I was very upset. Now when everything was not in my ways, we got a call that there was a motorcycle available at Suryabinayak,Bhaktapur. We got there and finally got the bike. It was Red and wine blue 220 cc pulsar. I happiness did not could not be measured. We did all the paperwork necessary and bought the bike and came home
It was the first bike in the history of my life, I loved her very much. For the first month I bought it, I had washed it 7-8 times. I did not even permit a bit of dust into my bike.
The happy story was only up to this section now over the course of time, something happened that I never imagined to happen. My bike was stolen. It was stolen from the compound of my own home. I was very tragic to this event. I did everything possible to catch the thief , reported in the police station the minute I found out, I was very optimist to find my lost love, But over a course of time I have lost the feeling. It been nearly a month that my bike has left me and still I could not find it and I miss my bike very often the moment I am on street and see another pulsar 220f of same color on the street.
